My principal research interest lie in the field of software developments and computer modeling based on catastrophe theory, linear programming and optimization techniques related to agriculture. I have developed two software systems to aid the poultry feed formulation using linear programming technique. These software systems can be used to formulate least cost poultry rations and to analyze composition of poultry rations. Both software are being used by the researchers and students in the Department of Animal Science, Faculty of Agriculture, University of Ruhuna for their experiments. Currently I am involving into studies of catastrophe theory based program developments.
