  • Research Associate, Institute of Fundamental Studies, Kandy, Sri Lanka, From 1990 to 1998. Carried out research on feasibility of using locally available rock. Phosphate as a phosphorus fertilizer for rice in Sri Lanka. In this project I did the supervision and overall management of the full-equipped soil analytical laboratory

  • Research Assistant, Faculty of Agriculture, University of Ruhuna, Sri Lanka, From 1990 to 1992. During this period I engaged in research on soil fertility ofthe problems soils.
