| Description:
Annual herb, 30-100 cm high, unbranched or with a few slender ascending
branches, clthed with silky hairs; leaves linear or lanceolate,
moderately firm, 5-10 cm long, glabrous above, obscurely silky beneath,
stipules very minute, deciduous; racemes terminal, 2 to 12 flowered,
rarely reaching 15 cm in length; flowers may also be solitary, flowers
pale yellow, less than 2.5 cm in length, calyx densely covered with long
silky brown hairs, pods sessile, 1.25-1.80 cm long, 20 to 30 seeded. |
